Depression Toolkit
Lucet recognizes the importance of identifying depression in the primary care setting. Depression is associated with adverse health behaviors such as unhealthy diet, lack of exercise and smoking. In addition, depression amplifies the physical symptoms associated with medical illnesses. There is a high prevalence of major depression in the medically ill, which further underscores the need for effective depression screening in the primary care setting.
