SVP, Provider Success
Visar Tasimi is currently the Senior Vice President of Provider Success at Lucet and joined the organization in 2022 where he oversees all provider operations functions. Visar’s experience includes P&L ownership, Medical Economics, Joint Ventures, Healthcare Delivery System Management, Health plan Strategy, and Finance functions within National and Regional Healthplans. Visar’s prior roles include VP, Dental Business at EmblemHealth, where he was responsible for a $200M dental insurance business as well as two dental care delivery clinics. Visar also served as VP of Strategy & Analytics including medical economics & joint venture leadership at EmblemHealth/ConnectiCare. Visar held various financial roles at Aetna inc. including M&A Integration, Public Exchanges, National Accounts, Corporate Planning, as well as serving as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the President. Visar has a strong commitment to public and community service including chairing United Way campaigns, serving on his town’s finance board, and held board positions on numerous Connecticut nonprofit organizations. Visar holds a bachelors degree in finance from the University of Connecticut‘s School of Business.
